Award Presentation Ceremony and Dinner
|
|
|
Congratulations once again to Dr Steve Chuang Tzu-hsiung, Dr Elton Sun Wu, Ir Tony Wong Chi-kwong, and Mr Eddie Wong Kwok-hing! The award presentation ceremony and dinner were successfully concluded on 13 January, bringing together over 230 guests for an unforgettable evening celebrating this significant milestone in the PolyU community.

PolyU Running Team at Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2026
|
|
|
PolyU showcased its vibrant community spirit as around 3,000 members came together to take part in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon on 18 January. In particular, we send our biggest congratulations to the alumni runners who delivered outstanding performances, and a huge thank-you to the alumni in the cheering team for their enthusiastic support!

PolyU Members and Startups at CES 2026
|
|
|
From 6 to 9 January, the University led 19 startups to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 held in Las Vegas, showcasing groundbreaking technologies and research achievements across a wide range of fields. We extend our special congratulations to Ir Prof. Zheng Yongping, a PhD alumnus and Henry G. Leong Professor in Biomedical Engineering, whose FattaLab® Fatty Liver Diagnostic Device clinched an Innovation Award!

LMS Mentorship Programme 2025/26 Gathering for Undergraduate Students
|
|
|
Alumni mentors from the Department of Logistics and Maritime Studies (LMS) came together with current students and industry professionals on 11 December. Everyone looked forward to meaningful engagement under the Programme, including collaborations with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Logistics Alumni Association (LGTAA) that will feature alumni events, outings, and career talks!

DBAAA 2025 AGM and Annual Dinner

|
The PolyU DBA Alumni Association Limited (DBAAA) held its Annual Dinner on 7 December, with the Executive Committee and members gathering at Ju Yin House Seafood Restaurant on campus for an engaging evening following the Annual General Meeting.

Clinical Bridging Workshop by AANS
|
|
|
On 13 December, under the guidance of nine Executive Committee members of the Alumni Association of Nursing Studies, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (AANS), more than 50 nursing students learnt through the clinical process of simulated cases during the annual Clinical Bridging Workshop. What a great opportunity for alumni to mentor students through hands-on practice and feedback!

Last month, our “Proud PolyYOU” social media series featured how the University’s service-learning programme inspired Mr Chiu Cheuk-pong’s journey with Médecins Sans Frontières, as well as the integral role PolyU played in shaping Ms Moon So’s passion for her health profession and artistic pursuits.

This exhibition presents a curated selection of Chinese and English research works, highlighting the diverse facets of the Silk Road through themes, such as cultural exchange, historical geography, architectural heritage, and trade routes. Plan a visit to the Library!

BA (Hons) Information Design Study Trip Mini Exhibition

Over the past three years, a group of Design students joined three study trips to Japan, visiting Tokyo, Osaka, Yokohama, Kamakura, Kawagoe and Kyoto. Let’s know more about the learning outcomes shaped by their visits to companies, organisations, universities, museums, and events addressing various disciplines and global issues.
